With donations from friends and family, A1 Orange delivered over $3,000 worth of boys’ and girls’ socks, and underwear, on August 3 to Commissioner Regina Hill’s office! As Regina stated “this is not a giveaway, this is a hand up for the children of the community.”
A1 Orange joined groups such as the Orlando Magic and Orlando City Soccer, in supporting the Commissioner’s “Back to School” drive – collecting food, backpacks, shoes, school supplies and of course lots of socks and underwear!
A1 Orange looks forward to working with the Commissioner’s office on future projects to encourage these young students and to improve our community.
The following individuals and businesses generously donated money, socks and underwear as part of A1 Orange’s role in this “Back to School Drive” for the children of District 5: Mike Kimble, Trell Bryant, Laura Ragans, Tina Gerardi, Critical Care Educators, Enviro Tree Services, Valerie Crandall, A-Z Backflow, Gary Lepak, Shawn Casey, SA Casey Construction, Jeanne Slack, JS Promotions, Mary Bascone, Luci Smith, Lisa Leighty, Bill Collester, Erin Mack, Terri Walther, and Gabby Rylee.
