Florida's Hurricane Season Peaks Between

A-1 Orange Hurricane Services:
Preparedness & Restoration
With hurricanes, the best defense is a good offense -- Preparedness:

  • Start preparation as early as possible;
  • Meet with your staff and ask for input - one person can't think of everything;
  • Call A-1 Orange to schedule repairs of known water intrusion sources, such as leaky windows, expansion joints and porous surfaces which are overdue for sealing or caulking. Learn more;
  • Identify and stock up early on necessary supplies;
  • Make sure any generator(s) are topped off with fuel;
  • Walk the property to make sure there are no loose objects or anything that would be an issue during a storm -- secure items outside or bring them inside to minimize damage.
  • Make sure drainage areas are free of debris;
  • Trim trees and shrubs which could threaten your windows in high winds, with special attention to dead limbs and removal of trees which are not in good health;
  • Remove loose debris and secure objects as needed;

After the hurricane, A-1 restoration experts can:

  • Repair leaks by caulking and sealing windows and expansion joints (learn more);
  • Remove tape and window boards, and clean/repair minor damage to windows or surrounding surfaces;
  • Provide general clean-up services such as changing broken light bulbs, and even cutting down trees and broken limbs. Regularly scheduled services are often halted for a short time, so our team members may be able to provide other types of support that you need.

Let A-1 Orange provide all your Exterior Maintenance Services!
