It’s not too early to think about holiday plans for your properties and team! So we asked Melissa Hazlewood, a client with a lot of holiday spirit, to share some of her company’s traditions for celebrating the holiday at her properties, with her team and the community.

Melissa believes in holding Christmas celebrations at her properties and with her staff, because “Christmas is a great time to visit with tenants and people she doesn’t see often — to reconnect.” She also believes that “Christmas is about doing for others, especially the less fortunate.” Over the years, The Salvation Army Angel Tree program has turned into a fun team project!

BBQ to Benefit District 5 Students!

A1 Orange is pleased to invite you to participate in a back-to-school BBQ dinner/fundraiser on Saturday, June 30, 1-3 pm, in support of Commissioner Regina Hill’s District 5 “Back-to-School Celebration!” John Burrell, owner of Johnny’s Fillin Station and Johnny’s The Other Side, is donating most of the proceeds from a BBQ dinner for 100 people, to be held at the fun, open-air restaurant, “The Other Side,” at 2631 S. Ferncreek Road (at the intersection of Michigan and Ferncreek, Orlando). There is even a game area for kids to have fun!

Back-to-School Drive for District 5!

Remember how exciting it was to get ready for the new school year, when back-to-school meant new clothes, socks, underwear, new school supplies and a backpack?

For the past few years, Orlando District 5 Commissioner Regina Hill has organized a back-to-school drive to help students get that excited “bounce in their step,” when they get ready to return to school in August. This is the 3rd year A1 Orange has worked with Commissioner Hill to provide socks and underwear for district students.
